Since the late eighties, IBERCAT has been the benchmark in the ham wholesalers' guild. We distribute products for shops, restaurants, and professional sales. We work with 100% Iberian acorn-fed pigs (black label), Iberian acorn-fed pigs (50% -75% Iberian) (red label), Iberian "Cebo de Campo" (fed field bait)(50% -75% Iberian) (green label ) and Iberian (white label). We work with the Guijuelo denomination of origin, coming from Salamanca (Spain), denomination of great international prestige.

White pigs are raised on farms and fed cereal feed. Its meat is widely consumed, so at IBERCAT we offer quality products of great diversity (ham and sausage). One of our most remarkable products of white pork hams is the Ral and Duroc ham shoulder.

QUALITY STANDARDS

The Iberian Standard

Iberian ham is classified according to a quality standard, called "The Iberian Standard". This classification is based on two parameters: the breed of pig and its diet. Considering these two parameters, the Iberian pig is then labeled according to the following color code:

100% Iberian acorn-fed pig

Iberian pigs fed only acorns.
Black label.


Iberian acorn-fed pig

Pigs 50%-75% of Iberian breed fed only with acorns.
Red label.
